The Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation is committed to serving our community as we continue to evaluate local needs and opportunities, build engagement around important issues, connect donors with purpose, and transform generosity into impact.
For more than a decade, the historic Depot at Cherapa Place has been our home. As our organization and Sioux Falls itself continue to grow, we are excited to announce plans to expand the Depot in order to best serve the growing needs of the community.
"We have big plans for the future of our organization, and the first step is making sure we have the room to support all our endeavors that continue to work towards a brighter, stronger future," said Andy Patterson, President of the Foundation.
The added space will include a larger conference area to allow gatherings of community voices, additional workstations for future expansion of our team and capacity, and a renovated lobby space to welcome guests. These exciting changes serve our long-term strategic plan by allowing us to serve as a hub for community knowledge and as a place spark dialogue and to develop innovative solutions to pressing needs.
"The impact of these changes will extend far beyond the walls of the Depot," said Mary Kolsrud, Vice President for Philanthropy. "This expansion will ensure that we'll be able to champion philanthropy in our area for decades to come."
To ensure minimal interruption of services, while the Depot is under construction, our offices have temporarily moved to 1000 N. West Ave., Suite 300. We can't wait to welcome you back to the Depot once construction is complete.
